Abstract :
Ottoman state thought to protect it s borders by making a strong defence against Russia in east front During Crimea War. İn defence plan framework, under the order of Anatolia Army commandership, a numbers of forces consisting of volunteers and irregular soldiers as well as regular Army forces were taken into military service. But, irregular forces and volunteers didnt give desired support to the regular forces, and this caused the army to become failure against Russians in the war. But, Army commanders had great role in the failure of these wars. So, The state decided the establisment of more regular arm called Assistant forces), and to send this to Erzurum in the The shortest time. When Paris Peace Treaty was signed, (30 March 1856), this became unnecessary.
