Abstract :
In Kyrgyz,the terminology related with the taming, feeding and hunting of the eagle which is among the birds of prey, are the folkloric elements of language which are perpetuating their actuality today.Besides hunting with eagle, the terminologyofhuntingprocedures with otherbirds of preyaresometimes seen to be used incorrectlyin the written and spokenpress. As a result of the development of communication tools and supplies in technology, industry, etc. ; the number of people who turned that hunting style into a profession is decreasing day by day.As a result of the reduction on the interest of the new generation, linguistic terminology is used incorrectly or tends to be forgotten.Above all, beliefs, customs, traditions, clothing, diet which emerged with hunting and hunting methods are historical and cultural wealth. Therefore, the research of the languageregarding hunting with birds of preyand eagle, and the ethnographic elements to be transmitted to the future generations are among the tasks of ethnologists and folklorists as must as linguists.
