In the eastern Islamic and classical Turkish literature masnavis were written named Hüsrev and Shirin or Farhad and Shirin. The masnavis are mentioned the most popular, the most read masnavis.When we look at these masnavis Husrev and Shirin or Farhad and Shirin, we faced with a triple love story . In the Husrev u Shirin masnavis the master characters are Husrev and Shirin. They loved each other. Farhad was an replacement character, loved Shirin. Farhad committed suicide because Hüsrev set a snare for Farhad. In Farhad u Shirin stories the main characters were Farhad and Shirin. They loved each other. But Husrev loved Shirin and wanted to marry her. But Shirin didn‟t want to marry him. Husrev wanted to differ two lovers Farhad and Shirin.In this study ıt‟s focused on the masnavi one of the most liked masnavi Husrev u Shirin or Farhad u Shirin in Classical Turkish literature. It‟s based on Nizâmî, Şeyhî, Celîlî, Ali Şîr Nevâyî and Lâmi‟î‟s stories. It‟s expressed ın this study that the effects of the events on characters. The characters that mentioned are Husrev, Shirin and Farhad.
