Abstract :
Khalaj has been spoken in Save, Kum, Erak and Tefriş places in the southwest of Tehran in Iran. As embodying many archaic language characteristics, Khalaj, which followed a different progress from the other Turkic variants in Iran, has a unique place in Turkic language area. {-DXK} suffix is one of the suffixes used for several tasks in infinite verbs from the beginning in the historical periods of Turkic language. It is observed that suffix was commonly used in the old Turkic as {-DUK}. After that {-DXK} suffix maintained its activity in the West Turkic, but its usage was discarded in Chagatay area. This suffix has been commonly used in infinite verbs in Khalaj, too.
