Abstract :

Method supplies a requirement which is indicated for all the departments of science. This requirement comes up with a multi-faced frame in department of literature due from interpreting the narrative and so grasping infrastructure and archaic structure of the text. Narrative which is seen as a micro-leveled world can be examined and explained with in the frame work of different perspectives. This exertion builds a wide expansion area because of narrative’s multidirectional structure. Book of Dede Korkut which proved its own importance and value in Turkish narrative system can be examined with in the frame work of different methods for itself not being built aroud a monotype orientation. In this study, Being and Time which is written by Martiın Heidegger, changes course of history of philosophy, recognized with the aspects of evaluating individual and functionality of individual, will be adapted to Book of Dede Korkut with the aspects of individual and being authentic. Thus Book of Dede Korkut in which seemingly based on heroism and rescue motif and shaped around national values will be examined with in the frame work of a philosophical theory which can be adapted to daily and modern life. Thence mentioned work will be analyzed aroud orientation, time, hero / heroine and idea of self-realization.
