Title Of Article :
A Case Study of the Use of Code-switching at Primary Level
Abstract :
Code-switching refers to the alternate use of two languages in the same utterance by bilingual speech. On the basis of many studies carried out in France, it is plausible to argue that code-switching plays an important role in bilingual language learning. The primary purpose of this study is to investigate how two languages interact during language learning and his functions at the teaching process. The data analyzed in this study were collected from 3-5 year-old bilingual children in the 2013-2014 academic year in a nursery school. The findings reveal robust and inevitable evidence for cross linguistic influence between the two languages.
