Abstract :
After second world war internal and external conditions forced Turkey for transition to multi party system. After transition to multi party system foremost opposition party, which had founded in 7 January 1946, was DP strongly contravened to CHP goverment and came to power after election of 14 May, 1950. With accede of DP new period started in Turkey, in its years of govern D. P. effectuated important leaps and assured its position in DP May 2, 1954 General Election Van, further increasing the power of consolidated its October 27, 1957 General Election in Van percent of the vote fell DP
