This paper relates to macroeconomics and aim on evaluate the role of the economic growth and the exchange rate in controlling the macroeconomic framework. In this study, we use the Keynesian approach by calculating the macroeconomic stability index proposed by Burnside and Dollars (2004) and A. Amine (2005). Results have shown that the economic growth causes the macroeconomic stability and that the exchange rate explains significantly and negatively the macroeconomic stability in Democratic Republic of Congo.
