Abstract :
Genetically modified organisms (GMO) has been changed gene sequence of the organism or one of feature which has not in its own nature is gained. These products are called transgenic products, technology is called recombinant DNA technology. By means of developed modern biotechnological technics beginning from 1970 in living genetic structure which doesn t able to process, has been possible to make changes by conventional amendment methods. Modern biotechnology is described removing naturel physiological proliferation and recombination obstacle of all in vitro nucleic acid techniques (recombinant DNA, directly injecting nucleic acids to cells or to organelles, between different taxonomic groups such as cell fusion is applied). From one living species to another type of gene transfer or through modern biotechnological technics to current genetic structure is gained new genetic features, are called gene technolgy. By using gene technology new features are gained to product which is not possible to gain during its naturel process, is called GMO. Trangenetic term means, new gene or genes are gained to products by gene transfer.
