Abstract
Chronic pancreatitis is the progressive and permanent destruction of the pancreas resulting in both exocrine and endocrine insufficiency. The etiology is multifactorial. Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) is a disorder characterized by sporadic, paroxysmal attacks of fever and serosal inflammation. Multiple other disease processes may closely resemble FMF and must be excluded before the diagnosis of FMF. In this article, we present two cases who had familial Mediterranean fever together with chronic pancreatitis.
