Title Of Article :
Different Levels of Irrigation Effects of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) Fiber Quality Conditions Grown in Çanakkale
Abstract :
This study Canakkale ecological conditions at different levels of irrigated Nazil-li-84 cotton variety (Gossypium hirsutum L.) fiber quality parameters specified for the purpose in 2010-2011 between the randomized block design with 3 replications was con-ducted as. In the study material in the area cultivated cotton varieties Nazilli-84 was used. Obtained from irrigated cotton grown at different levels of fiber and seed Kutlu ginning and fiber quality parameters of the fiber fineness, fiber length and strength values were obtained.According to the results obtained in this study ginning evaluation is made in terms of the difference between the 0.05 significance level irrigation practices differences were obser-ved. Full irrigation and 2/3 irrigation, while in the same group with the lowest level of irri-gation irrigation third took place in other groups. Fiber fineness are concerned the best results were obtained at 2/3 irrigation. Full and 1/3 irrigation the application obtained from the fineness of the fibers located in the same group and the statistical significance level of 0.05 was observed differences between the two applications. When evaluated in terms of fiber length full irrigation value of long fibers while the other two irrigation application 0.05 significance level was different. Fiber strength when subjected to statistical evaluation values the 0.05 significance level differences were observed and create two different gro-ups. Strength fibers obtained from the application of water was 2/3 irrigation. As a result, in agricultural areas in Çanakkale reduction in the amount of cotton acreage to stop the practices that have led to improvements in the efficiency of the next election, which will reduce input costs should be taken to make the application more than necessary. For this reason, determining the level of irrigation for cotton farming Çanakkale is of great importance. Terrain and irrigation water quality, subject to the most appropriate application of the soil to field capacity to bring irrigation practices would be appropriate, but irrigation shortages where cotton acreage for the protection, field capacity, 2/3 of the irrigation prac-tices also would be appropriate to say.
