Abstract :
The objective of this study was to determine phosphorus adsorption capacities and isotherms of soils insome hazelnut orchards at Çarşamba and Terme districts of Samsun. Phosphorus adsorptions of thesoils used in this study varied between 1.01 and 234.15 μg g-1. In the soils of hazelnut orchards, whileK isotherm parameters, define the phosphorus fixation capacity of soil in Freundlich equation, variedbetween 3.161 and 44.988 mg kg-1; empirical n parameters of adsorption enthalpies varied between0.879 and 1.488. It was determined that phosphorus adsorption in soils of the region fitted to Freundlichisotherm equation but didn’t fit to Langmuir isotherm equation.
