Abstract :
It is clear that traditional house which has importance for society in historical, cultural and structural means, is worn and vanished through a longtime usage for different reasons. Traditional residences can not answer to the up-to-date needs and requests which arose from the changes in cultural and living styles. This study aims to examine that physical alteration on traditional house exapmles of Bursa which is the first capital city of Ottoman Empire, with a critical point of view.
