Abstract :
Endometriosis which is defined as the presence of endometrial tissue out side of the uterine cavity may be diagnosed in the incision line following caesarean section, hysterectomy, appendectomy, and amniocentesis. The rate of endometriosis after caesarean section is 0,03-0,4% . In this report, we presented two patients admitted to our clinic with chronic pain in the pelvic region. Both had a caesarean section history and palpable nodule near the Pfannenstiel’s incision. After wide total excision of the masses, pathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of endometriosis. In conclusion, incisional endometriosis should be kept in mind in the patients with chronic pain and palpable mass in the cesarean incision scar.
