Hadımkoy as a Logistic Center and Its Problems

There have been some developments in commercial activities thanks to the technological developments in transportation and globalization in 21st century and the importance of logistic activities has increased. As a result, logistic villages started to be founded in developed countries especially in Europe. In this sense, in consequence of decentralization activities and developing commercial activities in Istanbul, it is anticipated that the shipload of Haydarpaşa harbor be spreaded to wings and logistic firms be positioned in Hadımköy, Tuzla, and Gümüşyaka. In this study, the development of logistic activities, its features, and its problems of Hadımköy as a logistic centre are handled and analyzed.
