Abstract
Nowadays, various systems or organizations can collaborate and exchange information or services to work together and conduct exchanges in order to achieve a common goal. Workflow technology which tends to automate business processes and provide support for their management is now an active research sector. Cooperation between heterogeneous workflows entails security challenges, both organizational and technical. The emergence of the concept of Virtual Organization (VO), which consists of a temporary alliance of organizations, around a network structure where the pooling of material software and human resources, makes it possible to achieve this common objective. This cannot be achieved without safety problems. To ensure a certain level of security, it is essential to check whether the behavior of the systems of the different participants respects their security policies. We propose, through this paper, a secure approach of workflow cooperation of our multi-layer model [1] based on the combination of two access control models, namely ABAC and ORBAC in the framework of the VO.
