The Effects of Drama Applications on Pre-School Education Prospective Teachers’ Views of Drama Activities Planning Skills
Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of drama applications on pre-school education prospective teachers’ views on their drama activities planning skills. The study was conducted with 6 volunteer prospective teachers who are senior year students attending theDepartment of Pre School Education, Buca Faculty of Education at Dokuz Eylul University during the 2008-2009 Spring semester. The data was collected through the interviewing method, a qualitative research method. The data analysis revealed that there were differences in the views of prospective students in regard to their drama activities planning skills before and after they did drama activities in the ‘Teaching Applications’ classes. The findings showed a positive difference between the answers of the prospective teachers given before and after the drama activities they did in class.
