The Perceptions of the Teachers Regarding the Innovation Management Effıcacies of the PrimarySchool Administrators
Abstract :
With this study, it was aimed to find out how the teachers that work at primary schools perceive the innovation management efficacies of the administrators in Kırklareli. The sample of the study composed of 396 teachers chosen from the 68 official primary schools randomly.In the study,“Innovation Management At Schools Scale’’ developed by Bülbül (2012a) was used as the data gathering tool. In the development stage of the scale, the confirmatory factor analysis was done and Croanbach-Alfa coefficients were calculated. The research results of this study are follows: The perceptions of the teachers about the administrators’ innovation management efficiencies and its sub-dimensions are the level of ‘I agree very much’. The perceptions of the teachers about the administrators’ innovation management efficiencies differentiates accorrding to their ages; the teachers who are at the age of 20-35 think that their administrators are efficient in innovation management. The sex isn’t a variable that create a difference in innovation management perceptions. When the professional seniority variable is taken into consideration, the teachers have the professional seniority between 21 and 30 years think that their administrators have much more efficiency in all dimensions and perceive that they are innovative leaders have the innovation management efficacy. Perceptions of the teachers don’t differentiate according to their branches.
