Abstract :
The aim of this study is to specify the impact of Kitsch fact on the aesthetic choices of the students in different education all levels, and to discuss the results attained in terms of the qualification of art and aesthetic education. The study is conducted by using qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. The sample of the study is constituted with the attendance of 180 students in different educational levels (primary education, secondary education and higher education). The study was conducted in the fall of 2011-2012 academic year. The data of the study are attained through a survey that has 20 question improved by the researcher. The data are analyzed with percentage and frequency counts both in itself and between groups according to person numbers participate in the survey and reactions given productions. Besides, it is carried out the descriptive analysis of open-ended responses gained from the survey. According to the results of research, from primary education to the higher education, all student groups are under the influence of kitsch fact. However, it is confirmed that the students at tend to art especially in university level less incline to kitsch pictures. It is observed that the confrontation of the students groups with qualified art objects as much as possible as part of art courses taken reduce tendency to kitsch.
