The study group is consisted of 215 people that are the parents of the second grade students from 6 elementary schools. The survey is developed according to literature and based on expert opinions. The collected data were evaluated with statistical methods. According to the survey families set rules for their children on computer games. The number of families that make their children conscious of computer games are less than the families that set rules. Families should make their children conscious of the harms of computer games rather than putting them on rules. According to the results, families determine rules in order to protect their children against the harms of computer games. They think computer games affect their children’s success negatively. Majority of the families feel anxious about their children playing computer games.
