Abstract :
It wants a fuel of both cheap and least emissions emitting to the environment for used to the residence heating. In this study, for a building, which is built as residential and workplace in Karaman District of Central County in Denizli City, natural gas, coal, diesel and fuel oil quantities of corresponding of annual heating requirement as ambient temperature is estimated -6°C, were determined. As used to fuel quantities determined according to the type of fuel, annual fuel cost and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions quantities are calculated. At the end of study, for annual heating requirement of building, it was saw that natural gas is the most appropriate fuel. According to natural gas, change rate of annual fuel cost of coal, diesel and fuel oil are calculated 10.5%, 273.8%, and 447% increase, respectively. The amount of the annual CO2 emissions of natural gas, as coal, diesel and fuel oil, were determined to be less 51.6% 26.7 and 36.4, respectively
