Abstract :
In this study, artificial neural networks (ANN) method that is most widely used in water resources engineering in recent years was used to estimate sediment. The various ANN models were developed by using the monthly flow data of Yamula station for 1973-2003 years on the Kızılırmak River as input parameters. Examining the developed models, it was shown that the ANN method can be used for estimation of the sediment.
