Abstract :
Artificial neural network (ANN) is generally information processing system and a computer program that imitates human brain’s neural network system. By entering the information from outside, ANN can be trained on examples related to a problem, so that modeling of the problem is provided. Thus, ANN provides solutions for the events that are never experienced. Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is a special concrete type, due to several advantages, usage of SCC is increasing day by day. Besides SCC becomes eco- friendly by using waste materials such as marble powder. In this study, ANN that predicted strength properties of SCC has been modeled with mixture proportions of SCC produced by marble powder. Inputs of the ANN are mixtureproportions and output is compressive strength for 28 days. Last of all, ANN has been modeled successfully in this study and it is the aim of this study that ANN can take part in the methods of concrete mix design.
