A CUP FILLING ANALYSIS WITH PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING
Abstract :
Analysis of plastic products provides many gains for manufacturers before the production and assessment. In this study, a plastic cup which commonly used in daily life was analyzed with Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) program (Autodesk Moldflow). 16 oz sized a cup was drawn for analysis. The properties of Injection Molding Machine and PolyStyrene (PS) filling the material within the mold cup were analyzed. As a result of analysis as to whether the full filling, injection time, temperature, pressure and density values were obtained.
