DETERMINATION OF VERTICAL SUCTION PIPE DIAMETER AT REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS USING R-410A
Abstract :
Aim of this study is determination of suction pipe diameters for an alternative refrigerant (R-410A) which is widely used in refrigeration and heat pump systems. To obtain effective oil returning to the compressor, minimum oil velocity criterion is considered in the analysis. Refrigerant temperature in the suction pipe, equivalent pipe length and condenser temperature of the system are selected as variable parameters. The values of refrigeration capacity, refrigerant mass flow rate and minimum refrigerant velocity are determined for L type copper pipes. The results are presented with tables.
