INVESTIGATION OF USABILITY AS AGGREGATE OF MARBLE - GRANITE AND ANDESITE AT THE SELF COMPACTING CONCRETE
Abstract :
In this study, the usability of marble-granite and andesite as aggregate in self compacting concrete was investigated. For this purpose, 25%, 50% and 75% of marble, granite and andesite aggregates were used (with 350, 400 and 450 kg/m3 doses of cement) instead of aggregates in the design of self-compacting concrete produced with limestone aggregate. Slump flow of concrete in fresh state, compressive strength and splitting tensile strength tests in hardened state were carried out experimentally. As a result, it is concluded that the performance of the aggregates examined on the concrete is positively affected by the usage rate and the cement dosage, although it has a negative effect on the properties of the fresh concrete when used at low rates.
