Abstract :
In this study, the relations among economic growth, population and education have been analyzed by using granger causality and VAR analyze in the period of 1968-2006 for the Turkish economy. Econometric studies show that there is one way negative relation from the economic growth to the population and one way positive relation from the economic growth to number of graduated higher education students. Additionaly, an one way positive relation from the number of graduated vocational and technical school students to the economic growth has been founded in the study.
