Abstract :
The best way of protecting and preventing the enviorenmental pollution is to economize the unrenevable resources. It is possible to reduce the amount of the waste produced and its economical cost by conducting recycling. Important attempts started in the world by this and firstly the packets and all the recycling materials that will be used later became the general aim of the energy resource. Nowadays, the most useful way to evaluate of the waste with respect to environment and economics is recycle them in the resource. In Erzurum, the most part of the packing waste are accumulated without recycling and the recycling and wasteful materials in the waste are buried to the ground. It is necessary to compose suitable a reverse logistics network to make use of this packing waste. In this study a mixed integer programming model was developed to support decision making for effective design and operation of a reverse distribution system associated with packing waste recycling. The model was solved for six scenarios with the LINGO optimization program.
