Abstract :
Multi decision making analysis, which determines the decision making process, providing a solution to a problem when there are multi and generally conflicting criteria, is also an analysis used in performance evaluation. Evaluating performance accurately is of great importance to the food industry, in which there is an intense competition. Financial ratios have been used for this purpose for years. This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of companies in the Turkish Food Industry with multi decision making analysis by using financial ratios. Therefore, the companies are ranked with the help of TOPSIS and ELECTRE methods in multi decision making analysis as well as financial ratios obtained form their balance sheets.
