Abstract :

It is hard for the companies to survive in today’s rapidly changing business world. Companies are in competition with one another to survive and to obtain competitive advantages. With this respect, companies are looking for the ways to be more efficient, effective, creative and innovative. Effective business meetings are seen one of the important element of successful management. The importance of the business meeting allowing effective decision making, problem solving and being creative are far more important than it is thought. Today, effective business meeting are considered one of the important factors of successful business. This study is inspired by the fact that effective business meeting can contribute to the success of the companies. In this study, the DNAs of the successful business meeting are outlined. The objective of this study is to show that business meeting are very important and reveal the critical elements of successful business meetings. By doing so, this study is likely to contribute to the companies with respect to conducting successful business meetings. This study tends to be literature based and is done through collecting various material and resources from the literature, analyzing, evaluating and presenting. Although it is limited in this sense, the strength of this study comes from the fact that it combines the various resources and presents them in a systematic and original way.
