Abstract
In this paper, it is tried to investigate the efficiency of the firms in the manufacturing sector that are listed in the İstanbul Stock Exchange and in the İSO500 by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Examined a total of 29 firms by 2009 and concluded 8 of this firms efficiently in 21 of them ineffective. The study is also tried to determine input-output quantities which proportions need to make improvement that use ineffective firms come up with effective position.
