Abstract :
Today, in many countries, as an important indicator of the level of economic development and social development, the size of the structure employment and unemployment is discussed. Today, one of Turkey s most important social and economic problems is unemployment. Turkey, the economic and social structure of the imbalances, in addition to macro-economic policies to be implemented due to the worsening with each passing day we are confronted with the problem of employment and unemployment. In this study, data on unemployment, taking into account the socioeconomic conditions of the country have been analyzed, conducted due diligence on rural employment and the labor market in Turkey. In addition, the main activity of unemployment, gender and age, duration of job search, training, taking into account such features were examined. In this process, the fight against unemployment policies is evaluated. Rural Area adopted approach to the definition of TUIK, and population of less than 20,000 and defined as rural settlements.
