Abstract
This study aims to present the findings of bibliometric analysis regarding “Turkey adressed” studies based on the topic of “marketing” and indexed in the Web of Science and SSCI between 1980-2012. The study intends to reveal the contribution of Turkey to the marketing literature in the context of international citation indexes through bibliometric analysis. The study attempts to investigate the situation of Turkish marketing literature through a qualitative study of Turkey adressed marketing academicians. Consideration of the studies in Turkish marketing literature, the presentation of the development process and the evaluation of the findings based on the outcomes of the qualitative research can be mentioned as the expected contribution of this study.
