NEOLIBERAL GOVERNMENTALITY, LABOR RELATIONS AND “ENTREPRENEURS-OF-THE-SELF”
Abstract :
Neoliberalism is usually analyzed with economy policies that comprise three essential application principles: deregulation, liberalization, and privatization. However neoliberalism is also governmentality as a new type of “Reason” related with a particular shape of norm, thinking and feeling which includes producing and administrating the subjectivities (M. Foucault). The aim of this theoretical study is to criticize the perception of neoliberal governmentality through changing labour relations (Post-Fordism) by the means of “entrepreneurs-of-the-self”.
