Abstract
This study surveyed the relations between faith/worldview styles and such variables as attitude to suicide, depression and life satisfaction. Employing the Scale of Faith/world view Styles, Faith/worldview Stress Scale, SOQ-Suicide opinion questionnaire, Beck Depression Inventory, and Life Satisfaction Scale with 285 under-graduate students in a rural Turkish State University, it was found that the positive attitude to the acceptability of suicide showed negative correlations with absolute faith/world-view and life satisfaction whilst it revealed positive correlations with open faith/worldview and faith/worldview stress and depression. In contrast, depression correlated positively with faith/worldview stress but not with other faith/worldview styles. Furthermore, life satisfaction had negative relation with faith/worldview stress and positive link to absolute faith.
