Abstract :
In this study, we tried to analyze the image of Eastern Woman in Gerard de Nerval s work ‘Voyage to the Orient with the views of a Western traveler-author. Our author, with meticulous observations, studied the East in several aspects. He observed the Eastern Women, the most interesting mystery, in social reality. Nerval thought that the negative opinion caused by the imaginary views of the previous Western Travelers about the East and Eastern People should be suspected, and He tried to form an objectivity of the images of the Eastern Woman about whom many things had been written.
