Abstract
Although the image of woman in the cine-novels of Robbe-Grillet is presented as object of desire at first sight, it has the traces of the philosophical view which the writer adopted. Here, the woman is not only an object but also a subject as well. In his last work, the writer himself and the woman gains immortality by means of taking apart this woman of object from her body and flesh.
