Conservative approach for condylar fractures of children: a case report

Abstract
6-year-old male patient was referred to Ankara University, Faculty of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic from a state hospital with right mandibular condyle fracture in 2010. The patient had a history of trauma (bicycle accident) in two days ago. Clinical and radiological evaluation of patient was revealed a right mandibular condylar greensticks fracture. Conservative aproach without maxillomandibular fixation was selected as a treatment option for the patient that followed physio-mechano therapy. The patient was followed-up nearly 2 years with obtaining an acceptable healing result.
