Title Of Article :
THE INDIVIDUAL’S STRUGGLE TO CHANGE: MARK RAVENHILL AND THE CUT
Abstract :
In-Yer-Face-Theatre, starting from mid 1990s until today, aims at conveying nudity, sexuality and filthy language to the stage. Although these features are visible in most of Mark Ravenhill’s plays, The Cut, in a sense, differs from the other plays in that it mainly deals with interpersonal and family relationships. No matter how hard the character struggles, he cannot get what he has expected.
