Abstract
This research was conducted at the experimental fields of Kiziltepe Vocational High School of Mardin Artuklu University in 2012 and 2013 years to determine effects of different sowing times applications on yield and yield componenets of soybean. Trial was established randomized complete block design in split plot arrangements with three replications by using five soybean varieties (Nova, Ataem-7, Erensoy, TRE-S10/02 and Blaze) as main plots and sowing times treatments as split plots. Five soybean cultivars were sown at three different sowing dates (1 April, 15 April and 1 May). As the highest grain yield per area was obtained at the Blaze cultivar as 3308 kg ha^-1 and 3310 kg ha^-1 the lowest seed yield was obtained at the Erensoy cultivar as 2616 kg ha^-1 and 2524 kg ha^-1 in years of 2012 and 2013 respectively. The most suitable sowing time was determined with Arpil 15 in Mardin conditions.
