Abstract :
During the history, Van Lake catchment has influenced neighebour regions with its prosperous art and culture accumulation, sheltered several civilizations. Patnos and Tutak countries, situated on the northern side of the catchment, prove the great similarity especially on account of their mausoleum arthitectures with Van Lake catchment. It is not known the history of graveyards apart from a few graves and mausoleums situated in the historical graveyards of the villages Tutak Ocakbaşı Bintosun, Patnos, Köseler, Taşkın and Ziyaret belonging to Ottoman history of XVI. and XIX. periods. In Ahlat tradition most of the epigraphs of graves not being read due to their coverings with liken. However, these graveyards builded in the XII-XV periods, show that in this region they have great characteristic and tipologic resemblance with the graveyards with explicit history like in the regions Ahlat, Bitlis, Erciş, Güroymak. In this article, our aim is to prove the unknown examples of mauseloums situated in this region and introduce the relationship with other works existed in Van Lake catchment.
