Abstract :
The mosques built in Anatolian villages, away from capital city, specifically around xvııı-xıx centuries were shaped by tradition and regional aspects. The features of local mode can be seen not only the plan, architecture, ornaments, and materials used, but also in liturgical architecture elements, altar, pulpit and preaching pulpit of the mosques. After altar and pulpit, one of the most important liturgical elements is preaching pulpit. Gümüşdamla village Mosque preaching pulpit is important with its date and the name of the person, yet, it is also a work of art worth introducing with the carvings of Holly Qur’an, ewer, cypress tree and scales motif on it.
