Abstract :
Harbor Archeology developing in the field of archeology, a branch have been created of Underwater Archeology. Unfortunately, although there are many ancient settlements in the coastal regions of our country, underwater studies has not reached the desired level in here. Anatolian coast has a great potential with the existence of ports. There are many ancient harbors the remains are found even today in west Anatolian coast. West coast of Anatolia has well-preserved coves and harbors together with not as much as in Greece. The level of prosperity of a society, depends on to economic activity with development of culture and civilization. The heartland of a strong economy creates a live trade network. With the help of the strategic location that Kyzikos is the most important ancient city of Mysia that holds maritime trade. In trade flows between Black Sea, Marmara and Aegean Sea, city with an important place, have an inaccessible position as economical as it is affordable, between the other cities that are politically. In this privileged position, have made a very important contribution harbors in the south of the city.
