The Analysis on the Effectiveness of Preparatory Exercises in the Vocalization of the Contemporary Turkish Music Works in Violin Education

In this research, the preparation exercises prepared for the vocalization of contemporary Turkish music works which are used in violin teaching are examined in terms of effectiveness. A pretest-posttest control group model was used in order to evaluate the effectiveness levels of the preparatory exercises for the vocalization of contemporary Turkish music works used in violin teaching, Related to this model; the paired “t” test was applied for the average differences of control and test group; according to the obtained statistical data, the significant differences were found in the arithmetic average of the experimental group and according to the result, it was concluded that the effectiveness of the preparatory exercises was high. As a result, it can be said that preparing the works with practices and exercises to facilitate the vocalization of contemporary Turkish musical compositions created by composers and also the presentation of the total study data as a course book that can be used in the process of violin teaching in education will be beneficial.
