Abstract :
The monumental statues, which are used as a visual tool for the visualization of historical events or traces of traces of characters left in the urban space, to be remembered and conveyed to the future, need to renew their dynamics in accordance with the variable and revolutionary structure of art. Dani Karavan, one of the artists who can integrate the changes in his art practice and apply these new requirements to the monument sculpture, has developed a unique monument language. Caravan conveys the story or characters of the monument with an understanding that includes experience and experience, not of classical logic. He has extended the tactile and emotional boundaries between man and his artwork, and integrates the composition into the space and has produced his works that are unique to that place. The monuments produced as a result of the inclusion of context, memory, urban environment, nature and social dynamics, which are part of the artist s utopia, are transformed into a field of plastic experience and sharing that invites the viewer to participate in active participation. These approaches have allowed the Karavan to develop a new monument methodology. The revision of monumental design methods in this context will help both to use and form public spaces as well as to prevent the production of monotonous and monumental monuments.
