Abstract
This paper examines Financing Cash Flow Structures of the Turkish Factoring Sector. The purpose of this study is to provide an alternative Cash Flow Model for factoring companies which shall eliminate maturity risk during fund utilization. More than ten studies were reviewed and examined in order to have a better understanding of the financing and cash flow management structure of the sector as well as basic elements of the sector, types of factoring, legislation regarding the fund utilization and disbursement. After examining studies about the subject, a comparison of the existing cash flow system and a new model was made in this paper. The new model was recommended taking into consideration the financial risk, especially maturity risk. In order to provide the best outlook of the cash flow structure comparison, a SWOT analysis is utilized in this study.
