Abstract :
There is a chapter called Kitabu’l-Libas (Chapter of Clothes) in each hadith book we have. In the regarding chapters, while the principles about cloth belonging the Messseneger of Allah have been taken part in , at the same time, clothes used by him and his companians either directly or indirectly has been described. In this narratives, it has been stated that the Messenger of Allah had used some clothes named izar, rida, hibara, jubba (kaftan), mirt, hamisa, kamis, burnus, sirval, sarik and kalansuva. Also, in these regarding chapters, it is mentioned that the key feature about clothes he paid attention were to be clean and modest whatever they had names.
