Abstract
In this study, natural environment problems explained with a geographical approach in the Asi (Orontes) River Delta which is one of the most important deltas of Mediterranean Basin. Factors and processes which effecting delta areas such as geology, geomorphology, tectonism, climate, rivers and human factor had been produced. Natural environment problems which these factors are bound to under debated are exposed like soil erosion, earthquakes, flood and drainage, coastal dunes, marine factors, settlement problems and environmental pollution. Eventually, some environment problems are lived relatived this problems determined in the delta area is put forward. Therefore it was stressed that if immediately taken planned, right and permanent precautions, these problems will cause to past retrieve serious problems on evolution and futurity of delta. All of these conditional for contiuning of deltaic system which is at issue.
