Abstract
EU has led the Turkish Environmental Policies since 3rd of November 2005. In this study, the expectations of EU regarding negotiation process under the negotiation framework document and EU’ effect on Turkey’ environmental policies will be presented. Besides, some important documents will be analyzed in order to shed light to 2007 and beyond and to evaluate the effects on Turkey’s environmental policies. To achieve these objectives outlined above, the information collected from various sources such as official documents, local and international articles and documents will be analyzed and evaluated from theoretical perspectives. The aim of this study is to discuss the process of changes with respect to social, political, cultural, economical and environmental policies of Turkey initiated by Turkey’ full accession to EU.
