EVALUATION OF REQUESTS OF PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS FROM PARENTS
Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to determine what kind of the funds and course materials requested from parents by pre-school educational institutions and is to determine legal foundations of these requests and recommend some better suggestions to meet the needs of these pre-school institutions according to the views of stakeholders. The data were collected through questionnaires, interview and literature review from parents, teachers and school principals who works in pre-school institutions in center district in Kilis. The pre-school institutions are requested funds and course materials from parents in four ways: “first registration fee”, “material list”, “monthly fee” and “money except for monthly fee. The study found that monthly fee is legal but these schools have some other fee requests illegally from parents. Moreover, it is determined that some of the course materials requested from parents by pre-school educational institutions were legal but requesting the course materials which is except of the students personal usage from parents was not legal.
